The Management Control Association is organizing the 6th International Management Control Systems Research Conference, to be held at Edinburgh Business School, the country campus of the Heriot-Watt University, Scotland.
The organizers seek papers on all aspects of management control theory and practice.
We are particularly interested in fresh approaches to any aspects of control including interdisciplinary studies, the results of empirical research and case studies.

Prospective contributors may submit abstracts of papers by 15 December 2003 to receive initial feedback. Full conference papers must be submitted by 1 March 2004 to enable the review process to be completed by 1 May 2004. Latest conference registration details are on the Web site.
To enable a friendly atmosphere and encourage interaction, attendance is limited to around 100 people. A Doctoral Colloquium is also offered on 11-12 July, immediately preceding the conference. Doctoral candidates in management control and related areas are invited to participate. A number of subsidised places will be available for doctoral students for both the colloquium and the conference.
Wherever it is possible, please make initial enquiries well before 1 March 2004 for the conference paper, colloquium and registration.
