Significance

Growth rates across the Andean region (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia) are likely to be subdued in 2018 and recovery will be depend on whether international growth boosts commodity prices. Colombia will hold presidential and legislative elections in March and May, while Peru will hold regional and municipal elections in October.
