Retraction notice: Improving supplier performance and strategic sourcing decisions by integrating jobshop scheduling, inventory management and agile new product development

The publisher of the Journal of Global Operations and Strategic Sourcing wishes to retract the article by Anil Kumar K.R., J. Edwin Raja Dhas (2023) “Improving supplier performance and strategic sourcing decisions by integrating jobshop scheduling, inventory management and agile new product development”, published in the Journal of Global Operations and Strategic Sourcing, Vol. 16 No. 2, pp. 456-491, https://doi.org/10.1108/JGOSS-06-2022-0047. It has come to our attention that a large portion of this article is taken, without attribution, from an earlier, unpublished original work by Manoj Palsodkar, Gunjan Yadav, and Madhukar Nagare, “Analysing the performance metrics of agile new product development: a hybrid modified SWARA and WASPAS approach”. The submission guidelines for the Journal of Global Operations and Strategic Sourcing make it clear that articles must be original. The authors would like it to be noted that they are not in agreement with this retraction. The publisher of the journal sincerely apologizes to the readers.
