The impact of technology on work groups

Abstract

Looks at the relationship between technological developments and organizational form and human behaviour. Reviews social and organizational changes that have resulted from the Industrial Revolution and the more recent service sector revolution. Examines the relationship between technological development and levels of authority in management; technology and the workplace; management and technological advances; and finally the impact of technology on occupations.
