Procedure Audit
Abstract
Considers how traditional management service skills are now inadequate in the light of requirements for the management of ever‐changing needs. Examines Procedure Audit methodology as a nine‐stage process aimed at establishing a total quality approach, involving creating commitment, determining objectives, monitoring performance, comparing performance, and investigating discrepancies. Concludes that effectiveness is synonymous with accountability, which is measured by audit and must form part of an organization′s culture.
