The IT Industry in the 1990s

Abstract

With the last decade of the twentieth century less than a year away this article takes a look at current trends in the IT industry. Examining the impact of consumer preferences for compatible operating systems and the effects of “1992” it theorises about the shape of the European IT industry in the future.
