A Survey of Job Satisfaction among Library Officers in Nigeria

Abstract

Surveys the status and job satisfaction of para‐professional library officers in Nigerian libraries. Highlights a degree of dissatisfaction and considers areas of particular discontent. Discusses the reasons for their choice of the career in librarianship and their mobility and progress within the profession.
