Abstract
Employee benefits with regard to expatriate workers can be a time‐consuming and complex area for corporate management. Problems arise because these expatriate workers tend to be mobile, their working locations can be unpredictable in many ways and their retirement location may be uncertain. Some possible solutions to these problems for a company providing a benefit plan for its expatriate employees are outlined, and their relative advantages and disadvantages are detailed.
