THE OFFSHORE FOCUS: MANAGEMENT QUALITY, SAFETY AND PEOPLE

Abstract

The UK’s North Sea offshore industry has had a traumatic five years from cycles of reduced demand and volatile oil prices to serious accidents on platforms and helicopter flights. The introduction of BS safety standards will inevitably help in raising quality criteria throughout the industry.
