The 3rd edition of The Property Trade Directory, which gives access to over 30,000 contacts in almost 1,300 towns and cities in the UK, was released in August 2005. The directory, which was last published in 2000, is probably the most up‐to‐date and comprehensive reference guide to the UK property market. The directory provides a comprehensive listing of property agents involved in commercial and residential sales, lettings and management throughout the UK. Each entry includes the company name, full postal address, telephone number, fax number, contact name and details of the services provided. The listings in this directory are arranged geographically with separate sections for London, England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. The directory also contains a list of almost 900 local authorities and government agencies. In addition, the book contains a number of very short articles by practitioners on various topics such as:

The target market for the publication is obviously real estate practitioners, and I believe this publication will serve as a useful guide for property professionals.
