Sony and McDonald’s invest in the future
Abstract
The total amount budgeted for formal employee training in 2000 by US organizations amounted to $54 billion. With such a significant (and growing) investment in training, why has it become so important? The answer? World‐class organizations are investing in order to capitalize on the one true source of competitive advantage – their people.
