Abstract

Reflects on the personal experience of using upward appraisal in Barclays Home Finance. Explains how upward appraisal was introduced and the underlying principles. Covers the stages of the process from a personal point of view and some of the learning that has been gained so far. Goes on to explain the conditions for the successful introduction of upward appraisal.
