Abstract
Describes the main phases and corresponding characteristics of large IT projects. Summarizes the ways in which IT delivers value to the business. Introduces frameworks for objective‐ and goal‐setting for projects. Recommends a set of actions for ensuring maximum success before, during and after a project.
