Health informatics blueprint: business needs

Abstract

Introduces the broad issues associated with managing information in a variety of health care environments, particularly from the clinician and patient points of view. Enumerates and discusses the business needs that dictate information requirements. Identifies the critical issues associated with successful implementations of information systems in health care. Discusses the imperatives for successful implementation.
