Information: The Key to Europe
Abstract
Reports on some provisional findings of a Delphi study, canvassing the views of experts in six countries on how they see logistics in ten years′ time. Focuses on three main themes: how mastery of information systems will be critical to success in logistics; the changing structure of logistics systems, notably among multinational producers; and how environmental concerns are shaping up as key considerations in logistics. Describes major challenges for both users and providers of logistics services in the 1990s.
