Doctors and Teachers: A Tale of Two Professions?
Abstract
Despite the claim of cultural uniqueness, so often used to defend current practices in the health sector, there are significant common features and lessons across the range of public sector management. From recent management experience in hospitals and colleges, examines many topical issues and attitudes, at a time of turbulent change in both sectors.
