Section 5: Electronic library production support: the library technology group help desk

Abstract

The library technology group help desk is described, and the tools, procedures, and personnel for providing technical support to the campus libraries and library production systems are explained. Library production systems include both the public EL and the services and applications used by library staff to do their work. Developing and supporting the SilverPlatter ERL and Beilstein Minerva Consortium databases is also covered.
