LISU annual library statistics 1995 featuring trend analysis of UK public and academic libraries 1984‐1994

Abstract

Reviews the latest LISU data, which cover all the library sectors up to 1993/1994. Concentrates on the main features, noting some incongruence in the statistics, and pointing out the problems involved in data collection generally. Overall, reveals a serious decline in quality.
