Abstract

We’ve all heard the story of how one manager tapped into a knowledge source within his organization, followed it up and saved the business $20,000 based on this knowledge solution. But what about the flip side to these stories of success? What about those organizations that did not get it quite right? With so many failed attempts at implementing an effective system and the competitive consequences of becoming so transparent, we ask, is knowledge management is really worth it?
