Abstract

In today’s competitive world, information systems provide competitive advantage to a business. Whether a business follows cost leadership strategy or differentiation strategy, information systems have a strategic impact by reducing production costs and identifying the potential market segments. Communication is a key element in operating a business successfully. Information systems go a long way in simplifying things for a business by effective management of information.
