Global trends in entrepreneurship and small business management
Abstract
Compares entrepreneurship in the USA with Japan, the Soviet Union, Europe and South‐East Asia. Looks at the small business in relation to government intervention/incentives and market conditions. Considers the future potential of each area. Concludes that the success of small enterprises rests with the ambitions, willingness and ability of the individual to solve the conflict that exists between traditional management fundamentals and the country’s cultural responsibilities which are integral to its way of life.
