How to reduce your workers’ compensation costs
Abstract
Gives a brief synopsis of the history of industrial injury compensation before going on to consider the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Outlines the objectives of workers’ compensation and the categories under which claims can be made. Considers the cost of workers’ compensation and profiles ways in which leading companies attempt to reduce these through promoting workplace safety. Provides an action plan to prevent work related disabilities occuring and highlights other opportunities for cost control.
